Conquering a fear of spiders and snakes


This week, we’ve told you about where our fears come from and how you can conquer them.

Do snakes creep you out? Do spiders make you jump?

17’s Maddie Janssen and Alex Fisher set out to conquer their fears at CALM. 

Arachnaphobia and Ophidiophobia are two of the most common fears in the world. And while psychologists say these phobias likely come from an evolutionary instinct, because the “creepy crawlys” can be poisonous, they’re not really rational when they extend to common spiders in your house or garden snakes in your backyard.
