Two misdemeanor counts of battery have been filed against a Standard Middle School teacher following accusations she hit students.
The District Attorney’s office filed charges against Shannon Robinson. She is accused of hitting a student at Standard Middle School in Oildale.
Robinson was arrested in November on suspicion of two counts of battery and 28 counts of child abuse.
Robinson responded publicly to the allegations via Facebook, saying she had no idea about the allegations and the kids were fine.
At last check, the 46-year-old is on leave with the Standard School District.
Robinson was accused in 2009 of pushing a boy at Curran Middle School, but was not charged.
