A $2,000 reward it out for a grand champion show dog who hasn’t been seen in eight days.

The dog’s name is “Fierce.” The dog vanished in Bakersfield while it and her owner were on their way to the Westminster Dog Show in New York next month.

Fierce’s owner Davide Gutierrez has even hired a pet detective to help find her.

Bloodhounds were out helping look for Fierce on Sunday, but lost her scent at Norris Road and Knudsen Drive near the airport, just west of Highway 99.

Fierce won “Best of Opposite Sex” at the Japanese chin nationals in 2018 and is listed in the top 40 Japanese chins and is registered in the Japanese Chin Club of America.

Her owner says no questions will be asked if you’ve seen or have the dog.

You can call Davide Gutierrez at 559-359-2807.
