The young woman accused of stabbing another to death in Downtown Bakersfield last Friday, has not had charges filed against her.

The case against 21-year-old Miranda Garcia has gone back to Bakersfield police for further review.

Police say Garcia stabbed a 19-year-old woman during a fight near Dagny’s Coffee Shop on March 2.

Garcia was arrested the same night, not far from the scene. Garcia could have been arraigned Tuesday if she had been charged.
