CASA is having its first Super Saturday event this weekend.
CASA, or court appointed special advocates, helps provide children in foster care with a caring and consistent adult while their cases move through the justice system.
Several orientations will be held in various locations around Bakersfield and Delano.
CASA will enroll trainees for its summer 2018 training class, where they can become an advocate in just two weeks.
It’s free and starts at 9:30 a.m. on June 23. To RSVP, call Myrna Arias at 631-2272.
