Burt Reynolds dies at the age of 82

Multiple news sources confirm iconic actor Burt Reynolds has died at the age of 82. 

Those sources attribute the information to his long-time publicist.

The former college football standout was best known for his appearances in the movies, ‘Deliverance’, ‘Smokey and the Bandit’, and ‘Boogie Nights’.

The son of a Florida police chief, Reynolds played football for Florida State and roomed with Lee Corso who went on to become a well known college coach and sports commentator.
