Three burglars made out with thousands in cash and other items taken from a strip club and police are looking for them.

Bakersfield police said three people forced their way in to the Deja Vu night club on Golden State Avenue on Jan. 15 and removed money from a safe. Police said the thieves tried to take money from an ATM, but couldn’t. Some electronics were stolen too, according to police.

Management from Deja Vu tells 17 News it happened just before 6 a.m. and the three used a crowbar to break in, wore masks, and ended up taking $15,000 in cash and $25,000 worth in other items.

Management also said no one was inside the club at the time and custodians discovered the break-in later that morning.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Bakersfield police at 327-7111.
