Bakersfield ranked number one for most livable city on minimum wage


Bakersfield has been ranked number one on a list for the most livable cities for minimum wage workers. 

A study done by looked at the 75 most populous cities in the country according to the Census Bureau. 

The company used data based on hourly minimum wage, average rent for a one bedroom apartment and average monthly cost of internet and basic utilities. 

To live on minimum wage in Bakersfield, you only need to work 20 hours a week.
