Bakersfield police look for ‘vehicle of interest’ in murder of 3-year-old

Bakersfield police have identified a vehicle of interest in the search for the killers of a 3-year-old boy shot and killed in his family’s apartment in November.

Police released an image of a vehicle that was in the area of California and Union avenues within minutes of the murder of 3-year-old Major Sutton on Nov. 10, 2017. 

The vehicle is described as a silver passenger car.

Police said on Nov. 10, 2017 at around 11:45 p.m., a person or people forced their way into an apartment on the 800 block of Pershing Street and shot Sutton, his 5-year-old brother and pregnant mother.
