It’s the last weekend to catch a comedic play in the city that inspired it.
“Bakersfield Mist” is about an unemployed bartender who thinks she stumbled onto a priceless piece of art at a thrift store in New York and brings it back home to Bakersfield.
The story asks questions about what it really means to be “authentic.”
The show’s on at the Stars West Comedy Theater on Mosasco Street in Bakersfield.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday with a final performance at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $20 for all ages.
