Bakersfield Christmas Town, a local holiday-filled magical town with Frosty’s Playland bounce houses, a rock wall, hay rides and a skating rink, is moving back to its original spot at Kern County Museum’s Pioneer Village.

Christmas Town originally opened in 2013 at the museum. It moved to Northwest Bakersfield, at the corner of Riverlakes Drive and Coffee Road in 2014, where it has operated since.

One of the biggest attractions is snow tubing– good fun for the kids and the kids at heart. The Christmas Town Facebook says this year’s attraction will add laser tag to its list of activities.

The fun opens the day after Thanksgiving, according to its website.

Tickets are $20. Children under 2 are free. Military discount is $5 off the general admission. The hours are 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
