Bail agent opens fire during attempted capture of wanted man

Police are searching for man who is believed to have hit a bail agent with a car resulting in a shooting that wounded a woman inside the car. 

Officers were called to a report of a shooting in the 5100 block of Garber Way. 

Police say bail agents attempted to take a wanted man into custody, but when agents approached, the vehicle struck one of those agents. 

One agent fired into the car, wounding a 36-year-old woman inside. She was taken to a hospital with minor to moderate wounds.

The wanted man got away and remains at-large.

Police did not identify the man the agents were looking for.

The car was later found in the 2700 block of Garber Way, police said.
