After a rash of vandalism on the campus this week, Arvin Police Department have made an arrest in a recent threat against Arvin High School.
A social media post made the rounds online claiming a shooting would occur this Friday.
After an urgent investigation, police identified and located a 14-year-old suspect on Tatum Street near Myrtle Avenue Elementary School in Lamont.
She was taken into custody without incident.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt. Gonzalez at (661) 854-5583.
