Hazardous material crews were called out to a school bus that was sprayed with a chemical pesticide meant for a nearby orchard.
A school bus from Rio Bravo Greely School District was heading west on Highway 58, near the Frito Lay factory when they passed a tractor that coated the bus with a pesticide.
CHP says a driver, an adult aide and four school aged children were on the bus at the time. CHP said everyone onboard was OK, and did not need further medical attention.
Officials say the pesticide sprayed was called Asana XL. It is considered to be a low-grade pesticide.
