The Bakersfield Boxers and Bullies Rescue has sponsored a free pet adoption for the first 10 people in line at the Bakersfield Animal Care Center.
The city shelter is located at 201 South Mount Vernon Ave.
Adoptions will take place between 10 am and 4 p.m.
