Two nonprofits are joining forces once again to give local children the chance to see clearly.
Over the next couple of days, 350 students in the Arvin, Lake Isabella, Lamont and Taft area and will receive free eye exams and glasses. This is the seventh time Advanced Center for Eyecare, or ACE, and the national nonprofit OneSight teamed up to make this happen for students in Kern County.
Doctors and volunteers from both organizations will be visiting select locations throughout Kern County and checking the eyes of elementary and middle school students.
