32-year-old bicyclist killed in Stallion Springs collision

The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a bicyclist killed in a collision in Stallion Springs on Monday.

The coroner said 32-year-old Janine Marie Westberg was hit at the intersection of Comanche Point Road and Jacks Hill Road — an intersection without a four-way stop.

A truck struck Westberg at around 4:30 p.m. and was prononced dead at the scene.

The CHP is investigating the collision.
