The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said it has arrested three people for murder in connection with a deadly stabbing in Wasco last month.

Deputies arrested 24-year-old Atanacio Larios, 26-year-old Leonel Larios and 21-year-old Joel Robles for murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and participation in a criminal street gang for their alleged roles in a stabbing that left a man dead and four others wounded.

Deputies said the three Shafter men were arrested Sunday.

The stabbing happened on May 12 in the 1100 block of Highway 46 at Wasco Pizza and Dining.

The sheriff’s office says a fight involving multiple people broke out inside the restaurant, then moved outside.

Roberto Villanueva Jr., 45, was stabbed during the altercation and died at the scene.

All three of the men are due in court Tuesday afternoon.
