Two men were indicted Thursday on drug and firearms charges, and assault on a federal officer.
Ruben Duran-Sanchez and Daniel Delgado, are both charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and firearms possession.
Delgado is also charged with assaulting a federal officer.
Court documents say the defendants were arrested last month as they went to Shafter to sell 10 pounds of crystal meth.
Investigators say Delgado attempted to flee, rammed into a CHP vehicle and a DEA undercover vehicle injuring an officer following a high-speed chase into a vineyard.
Police found loaded and stolen firearms on both men and recovered 13 pounds of methamphetamine.
If convicted, Delgado and Duran-Sanchez each face a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $10 million fine.
