A 19-year-old passenger was killed in a crash on Interstate 5 just north of Frazier Mountain Park Road on Sunday.
Leonardo Deanda was killed in the collision that happened just before 3:30 a.m.
According to CHP, 20-year-old Ian Meyer was driving northbound on I-5 when his vehicle veered to the left, colliding with the center median wall, causing the vehicle to rollover.
Deanda was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers said he was not wearing a seat belt.
Meyer was taken to Kern Medical with non-life threatening injuries.
According to CHP, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. No other vehicles were involved.
