15-year-old boy arrested for making bomb threat to hospital

A 15-year-old boy is under arrest after making a bomb threat to Adventist Health Bakersfield Tuesday morning, according to police.

Bakersfield police said officers responded to the hospital at around 6:30 a.m. on Chester Avenue for a report of a bomb threat there.

Officers didn’t locate anything suspicious at the hospital, and later determined a 15-year-old boy had made the threat.

The 15-year-old was booked into Kern County Juvenile Hall for several charges including making criminal threats and making a false bomb report.
