A fundraiser yesterday was a great way to celebrate Taco Tuesday, but the animals it benefited were the mane attraction.
The equine rescue “All Seated in a Barn” hosted a ‘Let’s Taco-Bout Fundraising’ event Tuesday, featuring live music, a meet-and-greet with the animals, and of course lots of tacos.
President and founder Tahlia Fischer started the non-profit to save horses and donkeys from fur and meat markets in other states.
The money raised from yesterday’s event will now help rehabilitate the animals for new homes.
