Bakersfield Congressman Kevin McCarthy is with President Donald Trump headed to the Southern Border to view a newly completed section of the border wall in Calexico and then will be heading to LA for Trump’s six-hour visit to Los Angeles. 

Trump met with state law enforcement officials at the border on Friday, including Kern County Sheriff’ Donny Youngblood.

Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood greeted President Trump during a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border on Friday.

The President returns to LA for a third time as the nation’s president to host a fundraiser dinner for his re-election campaign for 2020, according to NBC Los Angeles.  

The ticket prices for the dinner range from $15,000 to $150,000.

A $15,000 ticket gets a dinner, $50,000 ticket gets a dinner and a photo taken with the president, and $150,000 ticket gets dinner, photo and participation in the roundtable discussion during the event, according to NBC Los Angeles. 

Trump previously visited LA for a Republican National Committee fundraiser and toured affected areas of Ventura due to the Woolsey Fire. He also met with the survivors of the mass shooting in Thousand Oaks.

For those traveling in the LA area today, especially near LA International Airport there may be traffic delays this afternooon due to the President Trump’s motorcade.
