IHOP changes name to IHOb, ‘b’ stands for burgers

The International House of Pancakes, more commonly known as IHOP, changed its name.

After 60 years, the restaurant chain became “IHOb” and the “b” stands for “burgers.”

IHOb, announced the temporary change last week, but didn’t reveal what it meant until Monday morning. Many on social media guessed that it would be “breakfast,” “bacon” and yes, some got it right with burgers.

The chain’s Twitter bio now reads “Burgers so burgerin’ good, we changed our name to IHOb. For burgers.”
