The U.S. Marshals are now assisting Bakersfield police in trying to locate two men wanted for a deadly shooting that killed an innocent man.
U.S. Marshals are asking for help to find 22-year-old Antonio Maldonado and his brother, 18-year-old Elias Maldonado. Both are considered armed and dangerous and are wanted to in connection to the shooting death of 57-year-old Manuel Figueroa on Valentine’s Day.
Figueroa was an innocent bystander, caught in the crossfire after two groups began shooting at each other at Quincy and Haley streets two weeks ago.
Antonio Maldonado is also parolee at-large and a Sureno gang member. He has an outstanding arrest warrant for attempted murder, conspiracy and gang participation.
His criminal history includes weapons and gang charges.
Maldonado is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
