Bakersfield Museum of Art closing over coronavirus concerns

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield Museum of Art on Monday announced it is closing through April 14 to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

“This situation is fluid,” Executive Director Amy Smith said in a release. “We will update this page with more information as we receive it concerning the continuation of our education programs and events.”

Works from the museum’s exhibits will be shared on social media.
