BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — As the rising spring temperatures settle into Kern County’s forecast the rapid Sierra snowmelt becomes a dangerous threat after a historic snow season.
National Weather Service Meteorologists Antoinette Serrato and JP Kalb joined 17 News at Noon to talk about the science of the snowmelt and how all that snow will impact local mountain communities and even residents in the valley.
