BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Actor Darnell Abraham is a Bakersfield native and is now playing George Washington in “Hamilton.”
Abraham has been on tour across the West Coast for years, bouncing from city to city and is now in the Central Valley for the first time performing show. He says he’s so excited to be near the place he calls home and hopes his role in the show will inspire others.
17’s Alex Fisher spoke with Abraham about the role.
“Hamilton” is playing in Fresno through Sunday.
