Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Park District Bond Measure R

To improve parks and recreation for children, families and senior citizens, upgrade and renovate outdated parks; build new restrooms; construct a community, aquatic, and senior center; shall Tehachapi Valley Recreations & Park District issue $43,000 of bonds at legal rates, raising an average $2,400,000 annually as long as bonds are outstanding at a yearly rate of approximately $0.039 per $100, with NO money for salaries and all money staying local and cannot be taken by the state?


  • A ‘yes’ vote is a vote in favor of authorizing the district to issue $43 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.03762 per $100 in value.
     
  • A ‘no’ vote is a vote against authorizing the district to issue $43 million in bonds at an estimated tax rate of $0.03762 per $100 in value.
