Rudy Salas currently serves as a member of the California State Assembly 32nd district. He is running for the new 22nd Congressional district seat.
Salas represents the Democratic party.
He previously served on the Bakersfield City Council.
Salas, 44, was born in Bakersfield and graduated from UCLA.
Salas is running against incumbent David Valadao (R), Chris Mathys (D), William Sheldon Cahill (NPA), Adam R. Holt (L), Elvin Alexander Valenzuela (NPP) and Adam Thomas Medeiros (R).
