Local student groups teamed up Friday to make sure kids weren’t eating by themselves.
It’s called “No One Eats Alone Day.” The Link Crew and Uplift club at Frontier High School came together to find students lunch buddies if they were alone.
“I’ve met a lot of new people. Newcomers who’ve come to school, who’ve been in math classes and different classes, and I’m like, ‘Hey. Why don’t you come over here and see you like my friend or see if you want to be friends with me,” Frontier High School senior Ashley Ferguson said.
Schools around the country too part too to make sure all students can feel welcome.
