Another group of veterans are headed to Washington D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to their service, and Honor Flight Kern County is hoping you can be there to greet them when they come home.
Honor Flight Kern County is welcoming the public to be at Liberty High School on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. to welcome home the veterans.
Honor Flight says 57 veterans are making the trip to the nation’s capital this time.
The event is free.
