Kaitlyn Castaneda is the associate producer of Studio 17.
She was born and raised from Bakersfield, CA and graduated from California State University of Los Angeles in 2020 with a Bachelor of Art degree in Television and Media Studies. She scripted, directed, filmed, and edited many short films.
While living in Los Angeles, she interned for Adlers and Associates Entertainment, where she edited and transcribed international indie films.
She also attended Korea University in Seoul, South Korea where she studied media and communications.
In her free time, she loves to travel, shop for sustainable clothing, and watch cheesy movies.
Kaitlyn moved back to Bakersfield directly after graduating and is excited to grow her passions for storytelling and videography as the producer of Studio 17.
She hopes to become an active member of the Kern County community while supporting and sharing local businesses and creators through KGET’s lifestyle show.
