Jesse Cash is executive producer and assistant news director of KGET.
Jesse joined the KGET news team in 2012 as executive producer and was promoted in 2015 to assistant news director.
Jesse’s career in television news started in 1996 when he graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications, taking a job at SNN6, in the Sarasota Herald-Tribune newsroom, owned by the New York Times.
Jesse first learned to edit, then became a producer, which took him to WPLG/ABC in Miami in 1999, KIRO/7 CBS in Seattle in 2002 and KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles in 2005.
In 23 years of television news, Jesse has received 15 Emmy Awards, won 19 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, a National Edward R. Murrow Award, five Golden Mike Awards and an Associated Press Award.
Jesse enjoys hiking, DJ’ing and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Jules, and their dalmatian, Jolie.
