Chris joined the KGET news team in August 2021 and is a June graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago.
There, he was Sports Director of the college television station. He produced weekly sports broadcasts, oversaw live-streaming, assigned stories, created rundowns and operated all the support systems – studio cameras, audio playback and prompter.
Before he was sports director, he was a sports reporter for four years. He also created a podcast that analyzed gambling odds and pop culture. In 12 episodes over two months in 2019, he served as reporter, analyst, and commentator.
His bachelor’s degree is in journalism with a minor was in creative writing.
