From the Pinpoint Weather Center.. We picked up a trace of rain early this morning and then it stopped just as fast as it started. Our next system is starting to bring more rain towards Kern County. We could pick up about .50” through Wednesday morning. Snow should start falling in our Mountain areas this afternoon. A Winter Storm Warning was issues this morning for the Kern County Mountains. Areas affected include…Frazier Park, Pine Mountain Club, Cuddy Valley, Tehachapi, Walker Pass. Snow levels will need to be watched carefully today. We have put snow levels at 4,500FT to start and lowering throughout the day to about 3,000FT. Due to the position of the storm and the wind flow, Frazier Park, Pine Mountain Club & Cuddy Valley and areas near the Grapevine will see a good amount of snow.
