From the Pinpoint Weather Center

Low pressure parked over the Pacific Northwest is bringing a cool onshore flow to cental California. This will continue through the weekend with highs in the lower 80's in the Valley. In the Mountains, temps will be in the upper 60's, while highs will top out in the upper 70's in the Kern River Valley. A stronger disturbance will push through Sunday increasing the onshore pressure gradient resulting in breezing conditions in the Mountains and Deserts into Monday. Showers are possible in Kern County beginning Monday night and lingering through Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the 70's in the Valley. Have a great holiday weekend!
