Funnel cloud near Arvin

Pictures of a funnel cloud sent into KGET by viewer Jennifer Cantu.

This started on the 99 freeway headed to Arvin and ended on Bear Moutain Blvd 223. It was amazing! The wind was blowing really hard and the rain was pouring. The time was at 1:30 5/18/2011. It was amazing to see how fast it was twisting. It was totally a site to see. I hope you all enjoy these pictures.

Thanks Scott and Jennifer for putting this on the news. Alot of people missed it on the news but they're gonna see it on facebook. This was very newsworthy. One time my neighbor found a dead bobcat behind Edison School but it would not show up good on a picture cause the spots on the bobcat mixed in with the rocks along the railroad track. It sure shocked me tho ,being right around the corner from where I live. I didnt know we had them in this area, it was hit by a car. Mary

im glad u like them i thought it was a awesome site too see... the messed up thing is ive missed it everytime on tv lol..... :)
