The Nashville Predators have placed defenseman Cody Franson on injured reserve.

Franson has been sidelined with a broken rib suffered February 2 against Phoenix. He is expected to miss the club's final four games before the Olympic break.

In 43 games this season, Franson has five goals and 11 assists for 16 points. He also has a rating of plus-11.

The Predators have recalled defenseman Nolan Yonkman and forward Colin Wilson from their American Hockey League affiliate in Milwaukee.

Yonkman hasn't played an NHL game since April 18, 2006 with Washington and has one goal with seven assists in 50 NHL games -- all with Washington from 2002-06.

Wilson appeared in 10 games for the Predators earlier this season, notching a goal and an assist. He was selected by Nashville with the seventh overall pick of the 2008 Entry Draft.
