Anaheim Ducks forward Ryan Getzlaf suffered a sprained left ankle during Monday's victory over Los Angeles.

Getzlaf left the 4-2 victory early in the second period after becoming entangled with Kings forward Dustin Brown. Getzlaf fell to the ice in an awkward manner as his leg folded underneath him.

X-rays revealed no fracture and the 24-year-old is awaiting the results of an MRI taken Tuesday afternoon to decide whether or not he will be able to participate in Anaheim's three remaining games before the Olympic break.

The fifth-year pro has 15 goals and 57 points in 55 games for the Ducks this season.
