Carolina quarterback Jake Delhomme exited Sunday's game against Arizona late in the second half with a chest injury.

Late in the third quarter, the veteran QB was sandwiched between Cardinals defenders Chike Okeafor and Darnell Dockett. He remained on the ground for several moments before being helped off the field. He missed one snap but was back on the field before leaving again in the fourth quarter.

Delhomme struggled in the Panthers' first six games, throwing 13 interceptions to just four touchdown passes. The QB was mistake-free on Sunday, however, throwing for 90 yards and a score on 7-of-14 throws in a 34-21 win.
