Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington was named to his first career Pro Bowl on Sunday.

Washington will replace San Francisco's NaVorro Bowman after the 49ers advanced to their first Super Bowl since the 1994 season by defeating the Atlanta Falcons.

Washington led the Cardinals with a career-high 140 tackles, while also recording nine sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, an interception and six passes defensed this season.

He is the first Arizona linebacker since Seth Joyner in 1994 and just the sixth linebacker in franchise history to be selected to the Pro Bowl.
