Sixers keep Mack with second 10-day contract

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers have signed guard Shelvin Mack to a second 10-day contract.

Mack has appeared in two games with Philadelphia since inking his first 10-day deal earlier this month. He also played seven games for Washington before being waived in early January and has averaged 4.3 points with 2.6 assists overall for the Sixers and Wizards this season.

The Butler product was averaging 20.5 points and 8.0 assists for Maine of the NBA Developmental League before first joining the Sixers. He was the league's third-leading scorer and was first in assists.
