Recap: Cincinnati vs. Milwaukee
Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Cesar Izturis went 2-for-2 with a solo homer and two RBI, as the Cincinnati Reds ousted the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-5, on Saturday.
The Reds scored twice in the eighth thanks to an Izturis RBI single and a Corky Miller fielder's choice to the pitcher.
Starter Homer Bailey pitched two innings and allowed three runs -- one earned -- on four hits. Neftali Soto and Derrick Robinson each had one RBI in the victory.
Milwaukee starter Wily Peralta lasted 2 1/3 innings and gave up three runs on five hits, while walking two batters. Logan Schafer hit 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in defeat.
