SPCA needs help finding missing cat

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield SPCA is asking for the community's help in finding a missing cat who they think was stolen.

Rebel, their "lovable lobby cat" has been missing since Feb. 26.

Rebel was brought into the SPCA as a stray around eight months ago. He was released as a part of the "Trap, Neuter and Release" program, but never left the shelter.

SPCA Executive Director Julie Johnson says it is not like Rebel to go missing like this. The SPCA workers' hearts are broken and they want their lobby cat back, according to Facebook.

If you have seen Rebel, call the Bakersfield SPCA at (661) 323-8353.
