Several students from North High School were involved in a large fight at a park just blocks away from the school.

Video from "Youtube" shows two students fighting, but then it quickly turned into an all-out brawl between several other people.

This has led to the expulsion of several students from North High.

The two groups of students involved in the fight had been at odds, when finally circumstances reached a tipping point.

One North High student, Parker Alvarez, was expelled.

Others were also expelled, including his friend, Robert Burton, who threatened a fellow student while on campus grounds.

Burton's mother, Sandra, concedes North High was right in expelling her son.

But all three of them claim North High did not expel as many people from the other group, and don't believe it's fair.

"If they were going to expel or suspend anybody, everybody involved, even the videographers should've been expelled along with them," says Sandra Burton. "They're just as guilty as the ones that threw the punches."

In response, the John Teves of the Kern High School District says "if and when an altercation such as this occurs, each school has a post certified police officer and a security team very skilled at investigating the incident, and determining who was involved, how and why. This has been proven time after time."
