One of two Bakersfield sisters was sentenced Thursday in an ATM skimming scheme last month.

35-year-old Rhianna Lawrence and her sister, 40-year-old Dawn Lawrence, were arrested in December on suspicion of skimming at several banks in California.

One of those banks was the Chase Bank branch on Coffee Road in Bakersfield.

Rhianna Lawrence took a plea deal and pleaded no contest. She was sentenced to two years in prison including time served.

Dawn Lawrence's case is still pending.
