Sheriff's SWAT team members ended a standoff at a Wasco trailer park early Monday morning with the arrest of two stabbing suspects.
Deputies say they received a call about the stabbing at the Wasco Labor Camp at 800 H Street around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were unable to locate any victims but found what they described as a crime scene with a significant amount of blood.
A short time later staff at Delano Regional Medical Center contacted the Sheriff's Office and said there were two victims of an apparent stabbing in the emergency room.
A Sheriff's news release noted the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
After interviewing the victims, deputies went to the trailer park in the 1600 block of Poso Drive, in attempt to arrest Daniel Torres, 24, and Ruben Sanchez, 21.
Deputies said both suspects refused to come out of the trailer so SWAT team members were called.
Residents from ten trailers were evacuated. After about three hours Torres and Sanchez were arrested on gang and assault charges.
