A man from Visalia who has been part of the local music scene for nearly 30 years got a chance to sing on The Voice Monday night.
Rudy Parris got two judges to turn their chairs - Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green. Parris has played at the Crystal Palace and has been the opening act for artists like Merle Haggard, B.B. King and Bo Diddley.
Parris ultimately chose Blake Shelton as his coach.
