There is breaking news in the trial of three defendants charged with murdering 81-year-old Dorothy Session.

On their second day of deliberation, a jury has convicted David Moses and Katila Nash of first-degree murder for the killing that happened in Session's Bakersfield home April 14, 2010. She was found beaten there and later died of her injuries.

The jury was deadlocked on the guilt or innocence of Angelique Nash and the judge declared a mistrial in her case. It's due back in court September 28th. Prosecutors say Angelique Nash acted as a lookout while the other two defendants went inside.

Moses was the only one who hit Session, but all three were charged with first-degree murder because prosecutors say Session died during an intended burglary.

We will have more details tonight on 17 News at 5 and 6.

Shame on KGET for putting family members of the convicted thug on the air. Of course they are going to extoll his non-existent virtues. As was already mentioned, the only regrets these foolish kids have is that they got caught. They need to leave this earth in the same manner as Mrs. Sessions!!

I don't know why you put the murders Aunt on to say he's so remorseful even thou she hasn't talked to him & calls the killing of Mrs Session an accident? BS! He beat her to death that's not an accident & he didn't show any remorse in court. It's insulting & you degrade Mrs Sessions memory by even giving his Aunt a voice
